DoubleTree by Hilton Van is at kilometre 8 of İpek Yolu Caddesi in Van, on the road running from the city centre towards Edremit, a few kilometres from Van Ferit Melen Airport. Opened in March 2016 as the tenth DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Türkiye, it has 94 rooms, 13 of them suites, and a large share of the rooms overlook Lake Van.
The hotel's spa is designed along the lines of a traditional Turkish spa. Besides an indoor swimming pool and a separate children's pool, there is a Turkish bath and a sauna; massages and body treatments are given in the massage room. A fitness centre completes the spa facilities.
The hotel has six restaurants and lounges, including the all-day Esperanza Restaurant and Bar De Cielo with city views, seven meeting rooms that can host up to 1,000 people and a 713-square-metre pillarless ballroom.
