Richmond Pamukkale Thermal

Richmond Pamukkale Thermal is a 315-room thermal hotel set in a pine-shaded garden in Karahayıt, in the Pamukkale district of Denizli. It is about 8 minutes by car from the Pamukkale travertines; the ancient cities of Hierapolis and Laodicea are also a short distance away.
The hotel's thermal centre has an indoor thermal pool and its garden an outdoor thermal pool; the water in the pools is used without any chemical treatment. Karahayıt's iron-rich water differs from Pamukkale's white travertines in leaving a reddish-brown colour on the surfaces it touches. The thermal centre also has a classic sauna with tiered benches, a light grey marble Turkish bath with a heated navel stone (the marble platform), a steam room, a cold-water adventure shower and jet showers.
Kese (exfoliating scrub) and foam wash are available in the hammam; massages and treatments are provided by Balzam Spa. The family bath, which can be rented by the hour, has a relaxation area, a thermal tub, a shower and a television. The hotel has a fitness centre, a vitamin bar serving herbal teas and natural drinks, an open-buffet main restaurant, the Pool Bar, the Rich Bar and the Hiera Club, serving à la carte on the roof.
The thermal centre and gym are open every day from 08.00 to 22.30, the outdoor thermal pool from 08.00 to 24.00, and massages and treatments from 13.00 to 23.00. The hotel applies age-based time limits on children's use of the thermal water; bookings for massages and the family bath are made through the hotel's switchboard.
