Of the three venues in Ankara offering a jacuzzi, two are thermal hotels in Kızılcahamam and one is the spa centre of the HiltonSA in Kavaklıdere. At all three the jacuzzi comes with a sauna and a pool; for those who want to stay in the city centre, the only option on the list is the hotel in Çankaya.
At the two thermal hotels in Kızılcahamam, the jacuzzi is a second option next to the thermal pool. Çam Thermal Resort & Spa Hotel in Soğuksu National Park has mineral hot-spring pools, while Eliz Hotel offers 3,000 square metres of facilities and private family cabins. A thermal pool is about quiet rest in mineral spring water, whereas a jacuzzi relies on the massaging effect of its water jets; the records do not say whether the jacuzzi is filled with thermal water or heated mains water, so ask the venue.
Jacuzzi in the city centre: Navitas Spa in Kavaklıdere offers an indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi alongside massage therapy. As it is a hotel spa, find out in advance on what terms guests not staying at the hotel can get in, for example with a massage appointment or a membership.
Arrangements and health: at Eliz Hotel, use by women and men is arranged separately; the records have no such information for Çam Thermal and Navitas Spa, so ask about mixed areas or a family hammam option when booking. If you plan to use the thermal pool and the jacuzzi one after the other and have blood pressure problems, a heart or circulatory condition, or are pregnant, consult your doctor beforehand about how long to stay in. General information on using a jet pool is on the jacuzzi page, and the city's other spa and thermal facilities are on the Ankara page.
