Ridos Thermal Hotel & Spa

Ridos Thermal Hotel & Spa is set amid nature in Ilıcaköy, in Rize's İkizdere district, about 6 kilometres from the district centre. Opened in August 2008 by the Ekşioğlu K Group of Companies, the hotel draws its thermal water from a borehole drilled by MTA (the General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration), which brings it up from a depth of 260 metres at 72 °C.
There are four thermal pools: a 220-square-metre mixed outdoor pool, an indoor pool in the main building with a children's pool and thermal fountains, and two indoor pools in the annexe, one for men and one for women. The indoor pool in the main building is open to women only every day from 08.00 to 10.00 and from 13.00 to 15.00. The women's and men's sections have Turkish baths, and there are three saunas (mixed, men's and women's), eight private family baths used by reservation, and a fitness room.
The private massage rooms offer classic, Far Eastern, aromatherapy, foot and targeted sports massage. Accommodation comprises standard rooms, classic and modern suites, apart studios and connecting family rooms; the Anzer Restaurant, Lobby Bar and Roof Bar are also in the hotel. The hotel is also a base for trips to the Anzer, Ovit and Çağırankaya highland pastures and to sights such as the Cimil Waterfall.
The thermal pools and the day-use facility are open from 08.00 to 23.00; visitors who are not staying can come in on a day pass, and hotel guests use them free of charge. Children aged 0 to 6 are not allowed in the thermal pools.
