Sandıklı Hüdai Kaplıcaları

Sandıklı Hüdai Kaplıcaları is in the Sandıklı district of Afyonkarahisar, at kilometre 64 of the Afyonkarahisar–Antalya highway, about 7 km from the district centre. All the facilities are run by Sandıklı Municipality. With a history going back to antiquity, the hot springs today have the look of a thermal resort town, with a cure centre, accommodation units and commercial units.
The thermal water, which contains calcium, sulphate and bicarbonate, is used in the public baths, in the hot water pool used together with the hammam, and in the family baths rented by the hour. The family baths named Kükürtlü, Mermerli, Çelikli, Laleli, Vali and Orkide allow families to bathe in a section of their own, while Çelikli Umumi and Köprübaşı Umumi are general-use areas. The treatment centre has saunas that can be used all day and mud baths available at set hours; the site also has a cure centre and a traditional medicine centre.
For accommodation, there are the ABCD, Kaymakam, Koçhisar and Reşadiye blocks, luxury apartments, villas and boutique hotel options. A restaurant, a grocery shop, cafés, picnic areas, a children's playground, a zoo, horse riding, bicycle hire, laundry and a caravan campsite make for a setting suited to long family holidays.
The hot spring area is open every day from 08.00 to 22.00; the mud baths operate from 08.30 to 10.30 and from 13.30 to 15.30. The general-use areas are included in the entry fee, while private rooms and extra services are charged separately. Towels and bathing caps can be rented at reception; booking is recommended at busy times.
