Göcek Hamam & Afrodit Spa is a hammam and spa on Kuzey Sokak in Göcek, in the Fethiye district. The venue, which also presents itself as Afrodit Spa & Turkish Bath, says it has more than 30 years of experience in the hammam and spa field. In the traditional hammam, guests first sweat beside the kurna (marble basin) in the hot section; a female or male bath attendant then gives them a kese (exfoliating scrub) and a foam massage on the navel stone (the heated marble platform). Use of the hammam includes the sauna and steam room. The massage menu features full-body massage with aromatherapy oil, Swedish, mixed full-body, back-neck-shoulder, Sultan, milk, hot stone, shiatsu, Indian head massage, reflexology and anti-cellulite massage; durations range from 30 to 60 minutes.
Coffee scrubs, face masks, skin care, manicures and pedicures are also offered, and there are packages combining hammam, sauna, massage and face mask. Besides the section used by women and men together, the hammam has a section reserved for women. Peshtemals and towels are provided, and belongings can be stored safely in the changing area. The therapists also go out to yachts and boats in Göcek to give massage and spa treatments on board.
