Foam massage in Ankara

Of the 3 venues in Ankara offering foam massage, two are in Çankaya and one in Kızılcahamam, and all three are hotel spas; there is no historic hammam on the list. At these venues foam massage is offered in the hammam sections, as part of the same ritual as kese (exfoliating scrub), which appears alongside it on the menu.

Çukurambar, Çankaya and Soğuksu

Dayinn Spa in Çukurambar has an indoor pool, sauna and hammam; it offers Balinese massage, kese and foam wash, and themed day spa packages in private rooms for couples, and is listed as mixed. Sakura Touch Luxury Spa in Çankaya works with Asian therapists; alongside hammam rituals it offers massage packages with sauna, hot stone and deep tissue massage, body masks and body treatments. At Çam Thermal Resort & Spa Hotel in Soğuksu National Park, Kızılcahamam, a thermal pool, steam room and jacuzzi can be added to a hammam visit; the venue also has family hammams.

When booking

As the two venues in Çankaya work mainly with packages, ask at the outset whether the foam is sold on its own or as part of a massage or day spa package. Also find out the total length of the session, whether the venue provides the peshtemal and kese mitt, how the hammam section is arranged for female and male guests (the records for Sakura Touch and Çam Thermal do not include this), and whether the family hammam at the thermal resort is booked separately.
