Of the 4 venues in Antalya offering a Turkish bath, two are in Side, in Manavgat; one is in Tekirova, part of Kemer, and one is in Muratpaşa in the city centre. The two hammams in Side are independent of any hotel and you can go there for the day; those in Tekirova and Muratpaşa are hammam sections inside hotel spas.
Sultan Hamam Side on Kiremithane Sokak offers hammam rituals together with massage packages and is listed as mixed. Side Demirhan Hamam & Spa on Cennetler Caddesi has a wider menu, with a sauna, steam room, Russian bath, salt room, body scrub and facials alongside its kese (exfoliating scrub) and foam packages. Phaselispa Wellness & SPA, at the Phaselis Rose resort in Tekirova, offers kese and foam wash rituals together with a sauna and medical massage. Optimum Luxury Hotel & Spa in Muratpaşa has its hammam in the Arora Spa & Beauty section, together with a sauna, steam room and pool areas; this hotel's record does not mention kese separately.
The two hammams in Side are well placed to add to a visit to Side, and those not staying at a hotel can go there directly. Whether hotel hammams accept outside guests varies from venue to venue. When booking, ask whether kese and foam are included in the package, how long the massage after the foam lasts, whether a peshtemal and towel are provided, and whether female and male guests share the same area; the records of the three venues other than Sultan Hamam do not include this last point. If it is your first visit, reading up on how to use a hammam beforehand will make things easier.
For the stages of the ritual, see the Turkish bath page, and for Antalya's other spas and hammams, the Antalya page.
