Ak Sauna Spa

Ak Sauna Spa is a sauna, hammam and massage centre on Lavanta Sokak in the Hasanpaşa neighbourhood of Istanbul's Kadıköy district. Its location near central Kadıköy makes it easy to reach from different parts of the Asian side. Bringing sauna, hammam and massage together at one address, the business describes itself as a place of relaxation where attention is paid to detail.
The facilities include a dry sauna, a steam room, a Finnish bath operating at high temperature and low humidity, and a traditional Turkish bath. Kese (exfoliating scrub) and foam wash are offered in the Turkish bath; the business states that the areas and equipment are disinfected regularly.
The massage menu covers Swedish, classic, medical, Thai and Balinese massage, as well as reflexology and a mixed massage combining different techniques. Treatments are given by experienced male therapists, and the content of each session is tailored to the person's needs. It is a neighbourhood spa suited to those who want to combine sauna and hammam with a massage in the same visit, or to unwind after work or at the weekend.
According to its Google listing, it is open from 11:00 to 23:30 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 23:30 on Saturdays and Sundays. Booking a massage or hammam in advance by phone or WhatsApp is recommended.
