The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus

The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus is the spa of the Four Seasons hotel on Çırağan Caddesi in Beşiktaş. Since 2008 the hotel has occupied the Atik Paşa Sarayı, a palace built on the Bosphorus shore in the 19th century.
The spa covers about 2,100 square metres and its interiors are by Sinan Kafadar; light-coloured marble, colourful mosaics and the eight-pointed star motif, which in Seljuk art symbolises the eight gates of paradise, are the main features of the space. Alongside the Marmara marble hammams there are ten treatment rooms, a suite for couples, a sauna, a steam room, a spa bath and a relaxation lounge. An indoor pool lit by skylights is complemented by an outdoor pool overlooking the Bosphorus; the fitness centre offers personal training and Pilates.
At the heart of the menu is a hammam treatment of 30, 45 or 60 minutes: it begins with kese (exfoliating scrub), continues with a foam massage, and the longest option finishes with a mineral-rich body mask. The private hammam can be used alone or with a partner. Deep tissue, Swedish and Abhyanga massages, ESO Natural and Samadara facials, body scrubs and packages bringing together hammam, massage and facial are also on the menu.
The spa is open every day 07.00–22.00 and the outdoor pool 09.00–19.00; the indoor pool and steam rooms may close for periodic maintenance. Bookings are made through the hotel's spa.
