Pürovel Spa & Sport Swissôtel The Bosphorus

Pürovel Spa & Sport is inside the five-star Swissôtel The Bosphorus on Acısu Sokak in the Vişnezade neighbourhood, on the Maçka side of Beşiktaş. At the hotel, which is surrounded by extensive historic gardens, the spa and sports areas cover a total of 4,000 square metres under the name Pürovel x Urban Fit; the hotel describes Pürovel as an Alpine-inspired spa experience.
The spa has two Turkish baths, 14 treatment rooms, three of them for couples, and relaxation lounges. The traditional Turkish bath is offered in 30- and 60-minute options: after warming up in the steam and on the heated stone, a kese (exfoliating scrub) is followed by a foam massage with handmade olive oil soap. There are also versions finished with an oil massage or an ice application, as well as a couples' hammam. The massage menu includes hot stone massage with volcanic stones, traditional Thai, shiatsu, Balinese, aromatherapy and reflexology; facials, body scrubs and body wraps are also offered.
The wet area has a sauna and a steam room, as well as an indoor pool and an outdoor pool in the garden; the indoor pool is open to hotel guests only. On the Urban Fit side there is a gym, Pilates, yoga and group classes, tennis courts overlooking the Bosphorus and a running track in Sultan Park.
According to the hotel's website, the facilities are open to visitors with a booking as well as to hotel guests. According to its Google listing, Pürovel is open every day from 06.30 to 23.00; advance booking is requested for the hammam and treatments.
