Dibekli Grand Hamam

Dibekli Grand Hamam is inside the Grand Yavuz Hotel on Piyer Loti Caddesi in the Sultanahmet area, in the Emin Sinan neighbourhood of Fatih. With a navel stone (the heated marble platform) and marble walls beneath domed ceilings, it is modelled on the layout of an Ottoman hammam. The hammam says it aims to offer a smaller, more personal experience than the crowded tourist hammams.
The hammam programme includes kese (exfoliating scrub) and foam massage on the navel stone; every programme includes 15 minutes in the sauna and tea or coffee in the relaxation lounge. Massage options include aromatherapy, deep tissue, Swedish, Balinese, anti-stress, back and foot massage, with sessions of 30 and 60 minutes. A salt or coffee scrub and a clay or coffee face mask can be added.
The facilities include a sauna, steam room, cold-water shock shower and a relaxation lounge with loungers. Peshtemal, towel and slippers are provided, and you can bring your own swimsuit if you prefer. The hammam describes itself as a good choice for couples, groups of friends and first-time hammam visitors.
Dibekli Grand Hamam is open every day, 12:00–22:00. Walk-ins are accepted, but booking ahead by phone or WhatsApp is recommended to secure the time you want. A free transfer service is offered to guests staying in the Sultanahmet area.
